Based in Vancouver, our full-service Architecture and Interior Design firm boasts a nationwide presence, serving the hospitality, mixed-use residential, retail, commercial, industrial, and institutional markets across Canada.
 
This Interior Designer opportunity will be based out of our Vancouver office.
 
Note: Our office will be relocating to the brand-new Marine Landing building (8232 Manitoba Street) in late Spring 2025.

As an Interior Designer your responsibilities will include:
  • Communicating, mentoring, and collaborating with your team + clients
  • Translating direction from project managers into comprehensive designs
  • Developing projects from inception to completion maintaining innovation + quality
  • Creating + executing bespoke design concepts
  • Coordinating large-scale projects while mentoring junior team members
  • Participating in client presentations
  • Producing complete construction document sets including millwork detailing
  • Assisting contract administration during construction phase, including the review of submittals for accuracy + intent
  • Developing, coordinating + procuring FF&E packages while tracking budget adherence
 
You are able to demonstrate: 
  • Exceptional communication skills
  • Initiative, attention to detail and follow-through 
  • Excellent time management and strong organizational skills 
  • Ability to work efficiently and meet deadlines for multiple, fast-paced projects
  • Graphic and visualization skills 
  • Ability to develop collaborative relationships with coworkers, clients and consultants
  • Documentation and field observation skills 
  • Ability to execute the principles + elements of design in all phases
  • Ability to effectively communicate design ideas verbally + visually 
  • Knowledge of building codes verifying code compliance of Interior Design scope
 
You must be:
  • Proficient with AutoCAD, Revit, InDesign, Photoshop, Sketchup, Enscape and Microsoft Office
  • Bluebeam, Vectorworks and Lumion skills an asset
 
You must have:
  • Degree/diploma from an accredited design institution
  • Minimum 5 years of professional interior design experience
  • Demonstrated experience in the design and construction of commercial interior spaces in Canada

Compensation

$70,000.00 - $85,000.00 per year
